Frisbee Golf

Start each shot from a flat tee area.

Take shots within one step of the previous shot. Score by tracking the number of throws taken to hit the basket.

In frisbee golf, players utilize specialized discs instead of clubs and balls. These discs are divided into four categories:

·        distance drivers

·        fairway drivers

·        mid-ranges

·        putters

Each type provides different throws and flight paths. The objective of completing each hole with the fewest throws emphasizes precision, accuracy, and strategy.  Each disc has different flight ratings based on speed, glide, turn, and fade.

When starting out, it is recommended to get a starter set of discs that include various types. This gives new players an opportunity to find out which throws they are best at. As they become more skilled, a larger collection of discs can be helpful for shots and taking advantage of their properties.

1.   Tee Off: Stand on the flat tee pad designated for the hole. Follow directions if playing with others.

2.   Shot Placement: Take shots within one step of the last throw until reaching the basket. Avoid out-of-bound areas.

3.   Scoring: Count each throw until the disc hits or lands near the basket. Aim for the fewest throws possible.

4.   Observe Etiquette: Maintain good sportsmanship while respecting nature. Don’t distract other players during their shots.
